Rupert Gavin is a British business executive and theatre impresario. He is currently Chairman of Historic Royal Palaces and is a former CEO of BBC Worldwide and Odeon Cinemas. As a producer/financier he is renown for a huge range of successful plays and musicals and even immersive experiences.

Rupert was a long standing shareholder and board director of Ambassador Theatre Group, and helped develop the company into the world’s largest theatre group, prior to its sale to Providence Equity Partners in 2013. Rupert now chairs the Honours Committee for Arts and Media. He is a shareholder and advisor to the board of HPL.
